2. Create a profile on the PA medical marijuana patient registry
You just need a valid PA driver’s license or state ID card. Visit medicalmarijuana.pa.gov (not on a mobile device) and find the registration form. Then enter your information into the site in ALL CAPS, exactly as it appears on your ID.
Get certified by 1 of our PA Medical Marijuana Certified Physicians. Appointments can be made for in-person visits at Trinity Recovery Health and Wellness or via Telemedicine if approved.
4. BRING your patient ID number TO your appointment
When you create your profile on the state website in step 2, you’ll receive a patient ID number. This is the number we need in order to submit your information to the state and get you a medical marijuana card.
5. Talk with our doctor the day of your appointment
On the day of your appointment, our doctor will meet with you in person or via telehealth at the arranged time. Instructions for accessing the telehealth software will be provided to you after the appointment is made. You’ll discuss how medical marijuana can address your condition, and have a chance to ask any questions you have.
6. Complete your registration online at medicalmarijuana.pa.gov
Login to the patient portal using the ID and password you set up in step 2. Then complete your registration and pay for your medical marijuana card ($50). You’ll receive your card in the mail from the PA Department of Health.
7. Visit a dispensary to purchase medical marijuana products
When you visit a dispensary always make sure to bring your valid state-issued ID and your medical marijuana card to the dispensary with you. On your first visit, leave a little extra time to consult with the dispensary staff. They are very knowledgeable and will be able to help you through the process.
